Proverbs 3:5-6 (NIV):
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight.”
If you’d asked me about my favorite subject during elementary, middle, or high school, I wouldn’t have known how to answer. The truth is, I didn’t understand anything back then. Comprehension was like a locked door that I couldn’t open, no matter how hard I tried. School became a place of frustration and defeat, and eventually, I dropped out.

But life has a way of leading us down unexpected paths. When I enrolled in Jobcorps, they offered a high school program alongside trade training. It was there that I stumbled into a digital media class. For the first time, something clicked. I wasn’t just learning—I was creating, designing, expressing myself in ways I’d never thought possible. I was still unsure, but a spark had been lit.
Years later, I stepped into college, and that spark grew into a flame. Rediscovering digital media was like coming home to something I never knew I needed. Suddenly, I was comprehending—and excelling. I threw myself into every project, every design, every opportunity to shape stories through graphics, web writing, and social media. Digital media wasn’t just a subject; it became my passion, a powerful tool for reaching people around the world.
Graduating with a certificate in Digital Media felt like more than just a milestone. It was proof that there is hope even when comprehension feels impossible. And while digital media will always hold my heart, my journey led me to discover another love—audio recording, where every sound tells its own story.

To anyone out there struggling to find what clicks, know that your spark is waiting. Sometimes, it’s where you least expect it.
