📖 THE BREAD OF LIFE: JESUS OUR ETERNAL OFFERING

John 6:35 — 21st Century King James Version
“And Jesus said unto them, ‘I am the Bread of Life. He that cometh to Me shall never hunger, and he that believeth in Me shall never thirst.’”

When Jesus spoke these words, He wasn’t offering a product, a ritual, or a temporary fix.
He was offering Himself.

In a world where people chase satisfaction in every direction—money, validation, possessions, applause—Jesus stands and declares something radically simple:

“Come to Me, and your hunger ends.
Believe in Me, and your thirst is quenched.”

This is not symbolism.
This is covenant.

🕊️ JESUS AS THE OFFERING — A MODEL FOR US

Many people hear the word “offering” and think immediately of money.
But the greatest offering ever given was not silver or gold—it was Christ Himself.

He offered:

  • His presence
  • His time
  • His compassion
  • His wisdom
  • His obedience
  • His life

This is the pattern He sets for believers today:

Offer yourselves to God.
Offer your time, your gifts, your skills, your service.
Offer your presence where God sends you.

Offerings come from love.

💰 BUT THE TITHE IS DIFFERENT

While offerings are voluntary, tithing is covenant structure.
It is the first 10%—holy, set apart, the portion that aligns our finances with Heaven’s economy.

Offerings = expression of love.
Tithes = act of obedience.
Both matter, but they are not the same.

When we tithe, we acknowledge God as our Source.
When we offer ourselves, we reflect Christ’s nature.

Together, they form a full picture of Kingdom stewardship.

🌿 “NEVER HUNGER, NEVER THIRST” — A TOTAL-LIFE PROMISE

Jesus was not limiting this promise to spiritual hunger.
When you walk with Him, He satisfies your whole life:

  • Spiritually
  • Emotionally
  • Mentally
  • Practically
  • Financially

After coming to Christ, many believers discover exactly what JP expressed:

“My spiritual needs were met…
and my physical needs were met too.”

That is not coincidence.
That is Christ’s covenant provision.

Jesus does not just save your soul—
He stabilizes your life.

🌅 THE INVITATION

When Jesus says, “I am the Bread of Life,” He is offering more than salvation.
He is offering:

  • Fulfillment
  • Direction
  • Security
  • Provision
  • Peace
  • Identity
  • Purpose

He is inviting you to stop chasing crumbs and come to the table of abundance.

🔥 FINAL ENCOURAGEMENT

If you give God your tithe, He will bless your finances.
If you give God your offering, He will bless your service.
But if you give God yourself,
He will bless your entire life.

Jesus is the Bread of Life—
and those who truly come to Him walk in a fullness that this world can’t manufacture.

Come. Eat. Drink.
Be filled.
Live.
