Matthew 25:35–40 (KJV)
“For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat:
I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink:
I was a stranger, and ye took me in:
Naked, and ye clothed me:
I was sick, and ye visited me:
I was in prison, and ye came unto me.”
November 15th, 2025 — the day a story found me.
I’ve grown past the point of posting just to post or chasing recognition for The Hemet Beat. These days, I’m after something deeper — a great story, the kind that shifts atmospheres and reveals God’s fingerprints in real time.
Sometimes that means stepping out of my comfort zone… even on my Sabbath… even in the rain.
That’s exactly what happened when I went down to Lighthouse of Hope Foundation Inc. for their Thanksgiving Meal Giveaway.
🦃 Over 400 Families Fed — In a Storm
It was pouring. Not a drizzle — a downpour.
But Donna Sautia and her team didn’t flinch.
They fed over 400 families, kept spirits high, and served with the kind of compassion that can only be powered by the Holy Spirit. This wasn’t an event — it was an act of mercy, resilience, and pure Kingdom work.
And I’ll say this without shame:
Donna made Thanksgiving possible in my home this year, too.
Her mission blessed me. Her work touched my household.
And that’s why this story is personal.
👑 Donna Sautia — A Woman God Is Truly Using
In my lifetime, I’ve met a lot of people. But Donna?
She’s in a rare category.
She told me she’s been robbed — repeatedly — food stolen straight from her freezers.
But instead of shutting down, she keeps giving.
She extends mercy.
She offers grace.
She gives people another chance — even the ones who took from her.
That kind of heart can’t be taught.
That’s God’s anointing in motion.

🏛️ Our 2025–2026 Mission: A Building for Donna
Right now, Lighthouse of Hope operates outdoors and under borrowed space.
The need has outgrown the location.
So for this next year, I’m dedicating my platform — The Hemet Beat, my website, and my personal pages — to supporting #ABuilding4Donna.
This isn’t a fundraiser.
This is a movement.
A stable building means:
- More food security
- Expanded services
- Shelter from the elements
- Storage protection
- Dignity for guests
- Proper infrastructure for volunteers
Donna needs it.
The community deserves it.
And I’m not backing off until we see it happen.

📝 From a Journalist’s Heart
I don’t chase clicks anymore — I chase calling.
I chase the stories that remind us why we’re here, who we serve, and what God can do through one obedient life.
Donna Sautia is one of those lives.
Lighthouse of Hope Foundation is one of those missions.
And on November 15th, 2025, in the rain, I witnessed one of the greatest stories of my career.
This one isn’t just a post.
This one is personal.
